Jen at 12 weeks

Still not a lot of growing...

12 Weeks and good to go!

Well, we finally made it to 12 weeks and everything looks good. I think we can finally stop worrying about any issues with the pregnancy and now just start worrying about the next 22 years raising a kid!

8 weeks and all is well

Jen had her eight week appointment today and once again everything looked great. The baby is growing perfectly and has a strong little heartbeat (looks like a leaf to me). We are both a little more relieved after this one. Only 4 more weeks to go until we are at the crucial 12 week period where chances of another miscarriage go down drastically and we can finally start telling people.

Third Times a Charm (hopefully)

Jen has now been pregnant for 6 weeks and 6 days (by our best guess). We have not told anyone other than our managers at work since we both need time off to go to the doctor every once in a while. Since she already has had two problem pregnancies, we have decided to wait and tell the fam after the 12 week "trouble" period is over.

However, yesterday during work Jen experienced some symptoms that required her to visit her doctor today. The doctor looked inside and was able to see a heartbeat! This did not happen last time, so we are very excited. She said everything looked great at this point and that we have nothing to worry about (easy for her to say). She has another appointment next Friday, so we will see how that goes. Our fingers are crossed!

Our new BLOG

Today on the 30th day of September in the year 2008 I have decided to occupy some of my free time creating my first BLOG. I am well aware that very few people will ever read this or more importantly will ever CARE to read this. Oh sure, there will be an occasional snide comment from my sister about what is written (see Screech comments on Facebook), but this is mostly designed to keep me from going completely insane while I have some down time at work. Enjoy!
